“Doctor Mud”
Mr. O.A. Anderberg built the first mud bath facility at Soap Lake. It started in a tent on the southwest shore of the lake. He learned how to use the mud from Native people passing through the area. His mud bath station grew and was noted as one of the most popular places to take a mud bath.
